Greenman Viral Desai awarded the Global Environment and Climate Action Citizen Award

Dubai (UAE), 26 December (ANI/PNN: Viral Desai, a well-known industrialist from Surat, was awarded the prestigious Global Environment and Climate Action Citizen Award.
Viral Desai, along with the other winners, were honored at Dubai’s Atlantis The Palm on December 23, with the Bharat Gurrav Samman presented by Sanskruti Uva Sansthan. The ceremony was attended by Sheikh Awad Mohamed Mugrin, Director-General of UAE’s Foreign Trade And Economic Development Department.
Twenty-eight notable personalities from 11 nations, including the UK and New Zealand, France, Malaysia, and the USA, were presented with the prestigious awards. Viral Desai, however was the only Indian recipient of the award for climate action.
Others include Padma Shri Gaur Gopaldas a motivational speaker, Ashvini Kumar Sharma a polo player, Padma Shri Madhu Pandit Dasa, Akshaya Patra Foundation’s chair Padma Shri Madhu Pandit Dasa and Padma Bhushan Pandit Vishwa Mohan Bhatt. Padma Shri Ramkishore Chhipa is Nirbhaya’s mother Asha Devi and Saket Mishra as an investor banker Saket Misra to bet Mishra.
“Service to nature can take you anywhere. It is enough to have faith in the natural world and to make every effort to protect it. Viral Desai stated that the rest will happen on its own.

“This is my third international award in conservation of the environment. It will encourage me to increase my efforts to conserve the environment. He added that he was thankful to Pandit Suresh Mishra Ji, Bharat Gaurav Saman, and Pandit Suresh Mishra Ji for finding me worthy of this honour.
It is remarkable that Viral desai accepted the award wearing the traditional Gandhi cap, Indian attire, and proudly wore it.
Viral Desai was available to answer questions about the transformation of Surat’s Udhna Railway station, which he adopted and made the most green railway station in India.
They also expressed an interest to sign MoUs for replicating this model in other places, undertaking large scale tree plantation, or preparing other environmental models.
