The Keep Henrico Beautiful Committee is seeking exceptional residential and business properties for its 2022 Land Lover & Clean Business awards.

The awards, which are presented each year since 1995 and part the countys, are presented annually Go Green commitment to environmental sustainabilityHome and business properties that are well-maintained, attractively landscaped, and litter-free are more likely to be admired.

Residents must maintain their own lawn and landscaping to be eligible for the Land Lover Award. Nominees for a Clean Business Award or Land LoverParticipation in an ongoing recycling program such as composting or curbside pickup, or drop-off service, is mandatory

All nominees should follow best practices in water quality and soil health. These might include the use rain barrels or rain gardens, and participation in the Virginia Conservation Assistance Program through Henricopolis Soil and Water Conservation District and SMART lawns program of Virginia Cooperative Extension.

The Keep Henrico Beautiful Committee selects one residential property from each magisterial district and one business property to represent the whole county. Nomination formsOnline and at [email protected] will be accepted through Saturday, April 30, For details, call (804) 501-7277.
