How to modify the home menu environment of the Meta Quest

The default home menu environment for Oculus Qest 2 is undoubtedly pleasant: the idyllic setting sun paints mountains a warm yellow-yellow and the sky a soft pink. However, anything can become boring if you stare at it for too long. Sometimes, you don’t want hot air balloons and palm trees in your eyes. Perhaps you just want to visualize yourself in VR, perhaps by lighting a fire in a cozy winter lodge.

Meta’s got your back: The Quest 2 comes preloaded loaded with many options for customizing your home menu. You can also sideload your own home menu options if you are not satisfied by the pre-installed options. Instead of Meta’s cyberpunk space station or cyberpunk garrison, why not play Beat Saber at the Star Destroyer’s bridge or in a Pokémon Gym?
