In a hybrid IT environment, 5G can be capitalized

As government agencies move more data across hybrid and multicloud environments, they are looking at how to best utilize 5G wireless network capabilities. 

In a new interview Jim Poole, Equinix’s VP of Business Development, and Lamont Cpeland, Verizon’s managing director for federal solution architecture, discussed how public sector leaders can adjust network investment strategies to accommodate 5G.

Copeland explained that agencies face a challenge with the increasing number of endpoints putting more strain on networks. They must improve connectivity, productivity, and visibility among all the data they generate from different inputs. Poole also points out how Equinix partners, Verizon, can help agencies to simplify the interconnection of hybrid multi-clouds with private IT infrastructure with access a secure, private network.
