Amber Heard’s former personal secretary accused Amber Heard of creating an abusive work atmosphere in a videotaped testimony. The tape was recorded during Johnny Depp’s Thursday performance. Defamation TrialAgainst his ex-wife in Fairfax Virginia.

Depp, 58 is suing Heard (35) for $50 million for an op-ed that she wrote for The Washington Post. It claimed she was the victim domestic abuse. Although Heard did not directly identify Depp, attorneys for the “Pirates of the Caribbean actor” claim that her allegations have adversely impacted Depp’s career and relationships with his family.

Kate James, her former boss, accused Heard of verbally abusing and underpaying her employees in a February deposition.

James stated that Heard would bombard James with text messages in the middle of the night from Heard.

She testified that the barrage would begin between 2 a.m. (or 4 a.m.) “That’s what you would see when you woke up. It’s all incoherent and doesn’t make sense. There is no one to lash out at.”

Heard allegedly “screamed at” James several times over the phone and once in-person. Heard allegedly went crazy during a confrontation over James’ salary.

“She jumped up from her chair and placed her face about 4 inches below my face. She was spitting in front of me and said, “How dare you ask for the salary you’re asking for?” The ex-staffer remembered.

James described herself as grossly unpaid and claimed that she was later fired by Heard because she couldn’t pay for her services. Heard, who was described as combative by her ex-staffer during the trial, also said that Heard was “dramatic” and that she didn’t believe Johnny Depp had abused her ex-wife as Heard’s attorneys claimed.

“She paid me $25 an hr to get started. After screaming abuse at me, she agreed to pay me $50,000 per year once I started working full-time. James stated that this was after I had been working as a personal assistant for over ten years.”

The former assistant testified that she had never witnessed or heard of any abuse against Heard from Depp.

“Just never had any evidence at all.” I was there almost every day at her place, then at his place, and finally at Lofts downtown,” she said. It was a daily experience, morning, noon, and night, every day of the week. I don’t think I ever saw any evidence of anything.

A source familiar with the defense said James “appeared to be a disgruntled employee as a result of her being fired by Miss Heard.”

“Further her credibility is in question as she admitted to asking Mr. Depp for his payroll after her termination. She also contradicted her testimony, stating that she was not truthful in her testimony. According to the source.

Depp was told by a source that James “testimonited under oath to her experience in a stressful, under-paid or abusive work environment while she was employed with Ms. Heard.” Heard claimed that James never saw or heard anything about physical violence between them, but that Amber had actually abused her.

The source stated that Amber’s sister and mother were terrified of Ambers and she also shared details of abuse they witnessed.

In their opening statements, Benjamin Rottenborn of Heard and Elaine Bredehoft of Heard argued the contrary.

Both attorneys indicated that evidence would be presented throughout the trial showing how Depp may have abused Heard.

Rottenborn stated Tuesday that Depp’s actress would testify later in the trial. He also detailed the “graphically and horrifying terms” of their marriage. Rottenborn mentioned an instance in which Depp “kicked” Heard in the back of a private plane, calling him an “obsessed husband hellbent upon revenge.”

The attorney also said to the jury: “You’re gonna see who the real Johnny Depp was behind the fame, behind pirate costumes.” All of this will be revealed because Johnny Depp brought the case.

During Tuesday’s opening statements, Bredehoft also showed graphic abuse allegations against Depp. Bredehoft presented a variety of allegations of abuse against Depp, beginning in 2015 and ending in 2017, which included him allegedly “kicking,” punching, and throwing objects at Heard. Depp was also described as “delusional”, “paranoid” and “paranoid” by the attorney. He allegedly would drink and take drugs before allegedly assaulting Heard on multiple occasions.

She said that video and photo evidence of the alleged abuses will be shown to jurors during the trial.

Dr. Laura Anderson, the couple’s former marriage counselor, testified on Thursday. She confirmed that Heard has seen bruises before. 

“[S]Anderson said that Anderson rose to the challenge when he started first. Anderson agreed with Anderson.

Heard’s legal team also believes that publishing an article in the Washington Post that described herself as a victim, without naming Depp is within her First Amendment rights.
