LANL Hexavalent Chromium Plume Is Topic For Environment Department Virtual April 6 Community Meeting – Los Alamos Reporter

NMED NEWS RELEASE

The New Mexico Environment Departments’ Resource Protection Division (RPD), announced that it will host a community engagement meeting on Wednesday April 6, 2022 at 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. This meeting will be via WebEx to ensure that COVID-19 safe practice are followed.

This meeting will be centered on the following topic. 

Biogeochemical Remediation of the Chromium Plume provided by Dr. Patrick Longmire of the NMED  Ground Water Quality Bureau (GWQB). There will also be time allotted for questions and brief public  statements at the conclusion of the presentation.
