LEGAL NOTICE

City of Tacoma: Environmental Non-Significance

City of Tacoma is the lead agency

Applicant: Quay Phham & Vu-Phuc Nguyen

Proposal: Construction a 26, unit apartment building of 18,200 sf with 39 parking spaces. Location: 1202 E 72nd ST, Tacoma WA. 98404

SEPA Public Information Center File Nr. LU21-0248

Planning and Development Services of the City of Tacoma have determined that this project is unlikely to have a significant adverse effect on our environment. RCW 43.21C.030(2) (9c) does not require the preparation of an environmental impact report (EIS). After reviewing the completed environmental checklist, and other information that was on file with lead agency, the decision was made. This information is available to the public on www.tacomapermits.org or upon request. Comments on the determination of environmental significance must be submitted by February 22, 2022 at 5:00 p.m. to the Planning and Development Services Department 747 Market Street Tacoma, Washington 98402. Based on timely comments, the City may reconsider this determination and may modify, retain, or withdraw it.

This determination, unless modified by the City’s approval, will be final on February 22, 2022. This Determination is final and cannot be appealed administratively. Within 21 days of the building permit being issued, appeals can be filed at the Superior Court of the State of Washington in Pierce County. The Superior Court will hear appeals in accordance to the limitations and procedures set forth in RCW43.21C.075. The appeal must be filed with Planning and Development Services. The City of Tacoma doesn’t discriminate on the grounds of disability in any of their programs or services.
