We drove by Norwood Elementary School, and we saw the new windows being installed to replace the older ones.

This is a significant step in the right direction for school occupants, as they will now feel more comfortable.

It is the right step for Stanly County in that we will now stop having to pay our tax dollars for energy that was literally “going out the window.”

It is the right thing for the planet, as fewer fossil fuels will contribute to the climate crisis.

Kudos to School Board for getting it done. We hope we will be able to observe new windows at every county office and school house we pass by.
