It is a situation that is all around us right now, and it is pretty difficult to escape from.
The Romelu Lukaku debate is not just for Chelsea fans. We’ve had top pundits and media, former players, fans from other clubs, as well as former Belgian internationals, drop their opinions on why Lukaku isn’t performing well in a Chelsea shirt.
It would be awesome if you guys subscribed over at my project.Si & Dan Talk ChelseaWe are putting out so many Chelsea content, including DAILY Newsletters and breaking news, Podcasts. Interviews, inside information, and bringing on some huge guests!
Nordin Jbari is a former player and pundit who believes that Chelsea, Thomas Tuchel, and Lukaku are to blame for not getting the best of Lukaku. He describes Lukaku as a great star.
Jbari believes that the current environment is what is hindering the striker. Therefore, the emphasis should be placed on Tuchel getting out the best of Lukaku and not vice versa.
In an interview, as cited recently by Sport WitnessJbari stated:
Sorry, but Lukaku is a world-class star and you have to adapt to him. I believe that they were asking Lukaku to adapt for Chelsea. He doesn’t have to. It’s what makes a great player. But it is not always easy. He is not being trusted enough, and he is not being presented enough.
Chelsea and Tuchel must understand that they have signed a world-class star who is a goal scoring machine. It may not work because the environment isn’t right. In the short-term, Tuchel is the one who must make a move towards Lukaku.
He was the missing piece at Chelsea. They were lacking this type of striker, this finisher. They now have him, and they paid a lot for him. Tuchel must make sure that everything works.
Interesting comments To me, it’s a little more collective.
