Doha: The Ministry of Environment and Climate Change urged all Qataris to cooperate with it and preserve and conserve Qatar’s environment. It stressed that it will take all necessary legal actions against violators.
Yesterday’s statement by the ministry stated that its Protection and Wildlife Department had recently been able to seize 15 violations to the decision to ban grazing. The ministry also indicated that it will take legal action against environmental violations.
The Ministry stated that environmental monitoring officers are available 24 hours a day to protect Qatar’s environment. They are deployed in various areas of Qatar to protect meadows, reserves and other environmental violations.
The Ministry urged that any violation be reported to the unified call center No. 184 and reiterated the need to adhere to Law No. 32 of 1995 to prevent damage to plant ecology or ecosystems.
