Nadur parish 2022 calendar promotes environment

The 2022 calendar for St Peter and St Paul Nadur parishes has been published. It is intended to promote a sense of awareness about the environment.

Martin Attard’s 12 photographs are colorful and depict the Gozitan landscape. They also show the flora, fauna, and birds that live in the area, such as the ladybird, the robin and the ladybird.

The captions are one for each month and are taken from Laudato si, an encyclical by Pope Francis.

In the introduction, Nadur archpriest Jimmy Xerri argues that there is a need for an integral ecology. Fr Jimmy suggests that this can be achieved by small, daily actions that eliminate waste, destruction, and egoism.

Every household in Nadur is being sent the calendar.
