The American Water Charitable FoundationToday, the American Water Charitable Foundation announced new grant opportunities, including its 2022 Water and Environment Grant Program. American Water Charitable Foundation, a 501(c),(3) non-profit organization, was established by American WaterThe largest U.S. water utility company publicly traded.

The Water and Environment grant program was launched today to celebrate Earth Day. It supports clean water, conservation and climate variability projects. This grant program will continue to be available until June 30, 2022. A Workforce Readiness grant opportunity is available starting in July 2022. STEM Education will follow in October 2022.

American Water Charitable Foundation, Carrie Williams, president, is proud to announce the 2022 Keep Communities flowing Grant Program. This grant program will support impactful initiatives throughout American Waters national footprint. Our new grant program empowers employees and communities to learn more about water. This furthers our commitment to support American Waters’ focus on ESG (environmentalism, social governance, and governance), as we also support diversity and equity.

The Keep Communities Flowing Grant Program is focused on three pillars: People, Water, and Communities. Three new grant opportunities for eligible non-profit organizations will be made available throughout the year within these pillars. Each grant cycle will last approximately 90 days.
