Tetra Tech was honored for its first-of-its kind design for an ion-exchange facility for per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances. This facility will support Orange County Water District (OCWD). Tetra Techs support for the U.S. Agency for International Developments’ (USAID), ocean pollution reduction efforts earned it an award for Climate Change Adaptation & Resilience. Tetra Tech, a USAID trusted partner, has helped to drive innovation and use scientific, evidence-based strategies to protect our marine environments and support global climate adaptation and mitigation efforts.
Tetra Tech was also recognized for its work on the San Pedro Bay Terminal Clean Truck Program, which replaces older trucks with high exhaust emissions with cleaner, ultra-low emission models. Tim DeMoss from the Port of Los Angeles Environmental Affairs Officer stated that Tetra Tech has been a key part of the Ports Clean Truck Program’s inception.
