FAISALABAD – Environment Protection department has issued notices to 10 laboratories during last 2 days over polluting environment in Faisalabad.
Farhat Abbas Kamoka, Deputy Director Environment, stated Tuesday that Environment Protection department teams surprisedly checked Faisalabad laboratories and found 10 laboratories involved in polluting environment by violating hospital waste management regulations.
Management of these laboratories have been notified and directed to ensure their presence at the Environment Protection Department on the 19th of March 2022 for a personal hearing.
He added that these labs included Meezan Lab, Shaukat Lab in Akbar Chowk and Rifah Lab in Chowk Allied Hospital. Dr Lab & Research Center Jail Road, Advance, and Al-Meezan Center Jail Road.
