Nuclear Agency Staffers Call For Environmental Justice Update

According to staff recommendations, the Nuclear Regulatory Commission should strengthen its environmental justice strategy in order to better reach tribes, minorities, and low-income communities who bear the brunt nuclear industry development. PublicationTuesday

The April 2021 commission, charged with licensing and regulating safety at country’s nuclear reactors, requested staff to conduct a comprehensive review.
