This event will use performing arts as a medium for communication, without any language barriers. It promises entertainment and a relevant message asking everyone to help with environmental wellness. We wish the organizers and performers the very best. We hope the event brings out the desired results.
Premila Ramesh, Director of Orbit Training Centre for Performing Arts Nrityanjali, spoke about the event and said that she wonders if anyone isn’t affected by the changes happening in our environment. Every one of us bears the brunt, directly or indirectly. I wanted to reach as many people in Oman, with a value-added message on what individuals can do to protect the environment. One Planet One Future, a contemporary dance production, will not have any language barriers. It will be supported using dramatic stage setup and props; performers will be dressed in custom-made costumes to lighten the fire and inspire our audience to reevaluate their lives.
One Planet One Future will encourage people be eco-warriors and manage waste responsibly. It will also coach not to poach, discuss biodiversity & sustainability.
Young Omani students are invited to speak on the stage about environmental issues. All students are invited to participate in an Awareness Through Creative Art Challenge. This challenge encourages students to creatively present their environmental concerns. They can create art or craft work, write poems, write essays, create posters, etc. that relate to environmental concerns. We will feature them on our social media pages extensively, and also identify the best. Two VIP tickets will be awarded to the winners and they will be invited to appear on stage with a trophy to acknowledge their creativity.
