UNC School of Medicine seeks a faculty member who is dedicated to improving the learning environment in order to fill the role of Director for Learning Environment. Their responsibilities include education in learning environment and managing all learning environment reports that are generated from the SOM reporting mechanism. This includes providing feedback and information gathering, as well as speaking with faculty and students about the learning environment. They will also need interaction with the Equal Opportunity and Compliance Office and Human Resources. They will need to have the ability to communicate with our Equal Opportunity and Compliance Office and Human Resources offices. This individual will report directly to the Associate Dean of Student Affairs. He/she will also be working with the Assistant Director for Student Affairs. They will work informally and formally with other leaders who are involved with the learning environment at UNC, the GME office, and occasionally other UNC programs. This position will be supported at 0.33 FTE.
