Report finds that Jacksonville’s former chief of sports & entertainment created a hostile work environment.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A long awaited investigation into the former head of Jacksonvilles sports and entertainment division has finally been released.

Ryan Ali was placed on paid leave administratively and resigned in December 2020, amid misconduct allegations.

Action News Jaxs Ben Becker gathered the 73-page report Monday night and here is what he found.

There were eleven complaints. Four were substantiated. This includes violating the city’s procurement code, creating hostile work environments, falsifying attendance records, and using city-owned equipment to personal use.

Ali was among the notable appointees of Jacksonville Mayor Lenny Curry who didn’t last long in their positions.
