BTS features in Samsung Galaxy’s Unpacked event
Samsung has been building excitement among netizens about its new collaboration with the boy band since 2021. The teasers that the electronics company released with its global ambassadors were a hint that the latest launch would be a new BTS version for one of its Galaxy phones.
Samsung held their Galaxy Unpacked event on January 9, 2022 at 10:00 EST. This event showcased all the new gadgets for the year. BTS, their global brand ambassador, was a special guest for the company’s eco-friendly campaign.

Samsung Electronics created a new material that gives ocean bound plastics new life. They were incorporated into Galaxy devices made from repurposed fishing nets. This is yet another step in the Galaxy for the Planet initiative that aims to reduce our environmental footprint while encouraging more sustainable lifestyles for the Galaxy community.
The company placed a lot of emphasis on the incorporation of repurposed ocean bound plastics into its product line.
Samsung will use repurposed ocean bound plastics in all of our products, now and into the future. We will start with our new Galaxy phones, which will be unpacked on February 9th. These devices will be a reflection of our ongoing effort to eliminate single use plastics and expand the usage of eco-conscious materials like recycled post-consumer matter (PCM) or recycled paper.
