BISMARCK  U.S. Senator Kevin Cramer, member of the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee, joined Newsmaxs American Agenda with Bob Sellers and Heather Childers to discuss Russian collusion with the political left and environmental organizations. They also discussed the need for MiG fighter jets to be transferred from Poland to Ukraine. Below are excerpts from the video and the complete video.

Russian Collusion with the Political Left and Environmental Organizations

Russia’s involvement in spreading misinformation via non-governmental organizations disguised in environmental groups in the United States is not new. This has been known for a long time. A 2018 House Committee report found evidence of this happening. The Senate, led by Democrats, admitted that Russia was spending money to push us towards the Green New Deal. The Senate also admitted that Russia was spending money in the United States to push us towards the Green New Deal. [this]They can sell their dirtier fuel on new markets. The environment is not being helped. To be honest, opening up markets for Russia’s dirty energy to sell while we are not there is like taking a dip in a pigpen. It is absurd. Ironically, both Russia as the political left in the United States promote what they love most: A socialist economic system.

Let’s face facts, the Green New Deal was always more about a socialist agenda than about the environment.

It is necessary to conduct an investigation in light of these circumstances.

John Kerry’s Hypocrisy & Virtue Signaling

Let’s face it, John Kerry, the global climate czar of this Administration, is running around the globe telling countries not to purchase American fossil fuel energy. [This]They are forced to join the ranks of other fossil energy producers, such as Russia, who don’t have our environmental standards, have our labor standards and have no economic best interests in mind. It is absurd.

This week, earlier [John Kerry]He was in Houston for CERAWeek, and he said out loud, “Don’t worry about those 2,000,000 plus Ukrainian refugees.” It’s nothing when you consider the hundreds of millions of climate refugees who will be affected by dirty energy.

This makes it even more important for the United States that they produce it. Let me share one statistic I believe is very important, especially considering Europe’s need for natural gas. [and]They are cutting off access to Russian natural gas, especially now. Natural gas from Russia produced by Vladimir Putin, and then shipped to other European countries along its entire lifecycle, emits 41% higher greenhouse gas emissions than American natural gaz produced, liquefied and sent to the same places. If you really care about the environment, and actually care about climate, then it only makes sense to have more production in the United States.

MiG Transfers into Ukraine

Biden has been a follower at all times, but not leader. He has always been late when he does the right things, be it with Nord Stream 2 or air defense system sanctions. He’s had to be pushed by other countries or the United States Congress. He has been reserving his opinion on the transfer of these MiGs to Ukraine from Poland. Whether or not [MiGs]We can argue all day about whether they are what they need right now. We know this: Volodymyr Zelesky wants them. [Ukraine]It would be a help to them. Here are the reasons I think it’s important: We must deter Vladimir Putin. We don’t need to wait for Russia do something bad, then say okay, we’ll give you these MiGs. Or wait until he invades to sanction Nord Stream 2. We should be deterring [Putin]Preemptive action is a strong way to send a strong message.
