More than 500 students registered at the Delhi Skill and Entrepreneurship Universities (DSEU) for the recently concluded University Prelims to National Environment Youth Parliament 2022 competition. Among them, 119 were selected for the Group Discussion stage. The top 8 candidates were chosen to move on to the regional level competitions.
Parayavaran Sanrakshan Gatividhi, (PSG), is responsible for organizing events in universities across the country. In an attempt to raise awareness around environmental concerns that engulf the youth of today, the National Environment Youth Parliament 2022 – Nurturing Environment Leaders, invited the participation of youth for a dialogue on environmental issues and to contribute towards finding meaningful solutions along with their peers.
Vice-Chancellor of DSEU, Prof. (Dr.), Neharika Vohra, congratulated students and applauded their efforts in showcasing talent and initiating meaningful conversations on topics such as environment-friendly plastic waste management, alternative sources of electricity & Indian energy and new frontiers in green technology for climate action.
She shared that she was extremely proud of the effort each student put into the University Prelims. We wish all students shortlisted for Regional Rounds success. It is important that you remember the purpose of these dialogues and pledge to take small steps towards making your environment more healthy.
