States should provide a conducive environment for industry to work

V Muraleedharan has stated that the Union government’s objective was to create a favorable environment for both Indian and global business, as Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs V Muraleedharan said.

The twin initiative aims to make India a world-class destination for skilled professionals and investors. States should ensure that their industries and businesses have a conductive work environment, sans strikes and hartals for their growth, he said at the 2021 Business-Entrepreneur Awards Ceremony organised by TiE Kerala.

He stated that the inspirational stories of the award winners would be a great inspiration for budding entrepreneurs. Muraleedharan acknowledged the efforts of TiE Kerala to build entrepreneurial mindsets and change the outlook of common men towards start-ups, which he described as risky and not rewarding. This is Atmanirbhar. It’s a calling that’s fulfilling, rewarding, and worthwhile.

Increasing number of start-ups

In a short time, more than 60,000 start-ups were created. The Indian unicorn wave is strong. One unicorn was added to every five days in the first two month of 2022. He said that we can expect 100+ unicorns in 2022 due to the proactive role of the government.
