The Federal Trade Commission, for example, has begun to include questions about sustainability in its merger investigations under the Biden Administration.

The European Commission began investigating possible predatory pricing by Greece’s largest electricity supplier in March. According to a news release, the conduct “might have distorted competition and slowed investment into the generation greener energy.”[1]
