Vietnam to Reduce Environment Fuel Prices From April Until the End of 2022

According to a posting on Vietnam’s National Assembly, the country will reduce environmental protection taxes on petroleum products from April 1 to December 31, according to its standing committees meeting Wednesday.

  • To reduce the environmental protection tax on gasoline, to 2,000 Dong per Liter from 4,000 Dong per Liter
    • Diesel, mazut, and lubricant to be cut by 50% to 1,000 Dong per Liter
    • Kerosene to drop to 300 dong/liter from 1,000
    • Jet fuel to remain at 1,500 Dong per Liter
