Webinar on watershed stewardship to engage intersection of faith and the environment – News

By Galen Fitzkee

A webinar on watershed stewardship will be hosted by the Church of the Brethrens Office of Peacebuilding and Policy and the Brethren Creation Care Network on March 30th at 7 p.m. Eastern time. We will have special guest David Warners, from Calvin University, and we invite interactive participation by Church of the Brethren members.

Webinar description:

A webinar on watershed stewardship in your area! David Warners, a biology professor at Calvin University, and director of Plaster Creek Stewards will speak about faith-based reconciliation ecology, and the work Calvin University is doing in watershed restoration.

Be prepared to engage in dialogue about the intersection between Brethren faiths and the environment. This will be led by members from the Brethren Creation Care Network.

We encourage you to think about your congregation’s care for local waters, and to share these stories with us during the webinar. This webinar will offer a chance to reflect, exchange ideas, and create partnerships for action now and in future.
