A.P. Mekapati offers a low-risk environment for businesses to grow:

Minister for Industries, Commerce and IT and Skill Development M. Gowtham Reddy stated that Andhra Pradesh is blessed by abundant natural resources and mineral wealth. This environment makes it an ideal place for businesses to grow.

The Minister spoke at the opening ceremony of the Andhra Pradesh Pavilion at Dubai Expo 2020. He stated that the State was redefining governance through delivery of public services through village and district secretariats, doorstep delivery civil supplies, Rythu BharosaKendras (One-stop solution for farmers), and other such initiatives.

He stated that Andhra Pradesh was attending the expo to show its strong governance, strategic locations, robust infrastructure, skilled manpower, and immense potential for growth across all sectors.

The Minister then went on to describe in detail the Agri and Food Processing industry, the infrastructure facilities offered and the skill development initiatives launched and funded by the State government.

Thani Bin Ahmed, UAE Minister for Foreign Trade, Ambassador to India Ahmed Abdul Rahman Albanna and Indian Ambassador Sunjay Sudhir, Adviser and Chief Minister of AP, Special Representative to Middle East, Far East Zulfi Ravdjee and Chairman of APIIC M. Govinda Reddy were among the international delegates and top industry leaders present.
