An Artist Panel Discussion: Art and the Environment

Take part in a virtual artist discussionFive artists will discuss how their art and work relate to issues such as land, climate change, waste, and the environment.

Artists are unifying in their exploratory and innovative use of materials and subjects. Fernando Casasempere, Anya Gallaccio, Rebeca Mndez, John MirelesParticipants will discuss their work and share their experiences creating works that encourage us all to think about our relationship to the earth and nature. The artists use different media to show the powerful human presence and influence still present in the landscapes, objects, and environments that they create. Voice of San Diego’s Environment Reporter will moderate the conversation. MacKenzie Elmer.
