Cobourg police encourage mask-friendly environments, but there are no requirements for masks

The Cobourg Police Service is encouraging a “mask-friendly environment” when residents are visiting its locations.

In alignment with provincial lifting of mask requirements in several settings, effective March 21, masks became optional when visiting the service’s area locations.

Visitors’ mask requirements have been removed at the police station. 107 King St. W., and at Cobourg Police Service Business Centre for Corporate Services 739 D’Arcy St.

These will be still be safe environments for mask-wearing people. The service asks visitors to respect those who wear masks.

This service reminds residents that they can continue to use many services online via the service. cobourgpoliceservice.com. These services include: Criminal Record Check Applications, Freedom of Information Requests, Motor Vehicle Collision Report Requests, Online Reporting of Non-Emergency Crimes, and Bike Registrations.
