Weather advisory in force for:

  • Barrie – Collingwood – Hillsdale
  • Midland – Coldwater Lake – Orr Lake
  • Orillia – Lagoon City– Washago

Winter weather travel advisory in place for today.

What:
Snowfall amounts local to the area of 5-10 cm is possible.

When: Late this morning to early this afternoon

Discussion:
A strong and gusty northwest flow off Georgian Bay may cause snow squalls and flurries this morning and into the afternoon. Snow squalls should redevelop overnight.

Winter driving conditions can be dangerous for motorists. Make sure to adjust your travel plans accordingly. Weather changes can make travel dangerous. Avoid traveling if possible. If visibility is reduced while driving turn on your lights and maintain safe distance.
