Environment Canada issued a special warning for most of Southwestern Ontario on Monday. It warned that a wintery mix will arrive in the morning.

The snow will continue for several hours, with a few centimetres accumulation expected. It will then transition to freezing rain or freezing drizzle late today morning, the federal meteor agency stated in a statement.

Environment Canada warned that slippery surfaces could make it difficult to drive.

The mix of rain/snow is expected to persist for the rest of London’s week. Forecasters say that daily highs will hover between 1-2 C and lows will dip below freezing.
