Environment partnership to reduce environmental impact

Peterborough environmental charity PECT has a new partnershop program that helps businesses make a positive impact on the environment.

Investors in the Environment (iiE) have announced a groundbreaking partnership with genee, an environmental sustainability consultancy intent on Greening the Economy of North East England (genee).

Investors in the Environment is a national scheme that aims to save time, money, and help organisations reduce their impact on the environment. It also recognizes their achievements.

The partnership will bring together genee’s expert sustainability knowledge and the iiE accreditation scheme, which will help businesses save time, money, and improve their impact on the planet.

This partnership demonstrates the rapid expansion of the iiE national accreditation scheme.

Genee has a track record of providing expert sustainability support to businesses in the area.

iiE’s mission is to drive sustainability within businesses through a framework that is simple to follow,” explains April Sotomayor, iiE General Manager,

“With more businesses working towards netzero targets, partnering with genee, and utilising their experience in the North East, is a fantastic addition to the iiE community”.

iiE can be used to help organisations get on the path to sustainability and make a real difference.

It has been in operation for more than 12 years and has helped hundreds of organizations from all sectors and sizes improve their environmental performance.

Businesses in the North-East of England and across the UK that would like to improve and become recognised for their sustainability efforts are encouraged to contact the team at [email protected] or head to iie.uk.com.
