All levels of security are top-of-the-line

Cybersecurity threats have increased with remote work. Enterprises focus on protecting employees who work remotely. Although they are more susceptible to cyber risks, they have limited access to security tools and infrastructure in the office. Galaxy Book2 Business provides security for the hybrid environment by using Samsung’s defense-grade security technology, Intel Hardware Shield Technology and a secure embedded processor to protect BIOS. A Tamper Alert function is available on Galaxy Book2 Business that detects and tracks malicious attempts of interfering in security-critical data and stops attacks before they reach the operating system.

Galaxy Book2 Business is capable of stopping attempts to compromise it system by establishing Hardware-based Root of Trust. This validates BIOS, builds a trust chain between the CPU secure embedded processor, and SPI flash. If Galaxy Book2 Business is attacked, all data will be protected with BIOS auto recovery. This can detect threats during the PC’s boot process and restore the BIOS to a backup copy.

Samsungs new blockchain-based Private Share[4]It also offers enterprise customers the most secure platform for encrypting confidential information and sharing it. Employees can grant access to others and set expiration dates. This protects confidential information and proprietary information. Samsungs SmartThings find can also be used in the event that an employee loses their Galaxy Book2 Business PC.[5]To locate their Galaxy devices, search for them and pinpoint their location.

Galaxy Book2 Business, part of the Galaxy ecosystem can sync with smartphone applications through Link to Windows[6]Both devices can be used to send and receive text messages as well as phone calls. Crossover app continuity lets users select recent phone apps to open on their Galaxy Book2 Business PC. They can then pick up where they left off. Samsung has also updated Quick Share.[7]Link Sharing was merged with the feature so that users can share work instantly from anywhere.

Private Share application must be installed to send Private Share messages. Only available for Galaxy users.

[5]Requires Samsung account login. It will detect the approximate location of lost devices signal.

[6]Users must link their Galaxy device with their Windows PC via Link to Windows on phone or Your Phone app on PC. Follow the prompts to set up, including signing into the same Microsoft account. Select Galaxy devices come preloaded with Link to Windows. Requires the most recent Windows 10 update on the computer. To use the phone, the Galaxy device must be turned on and connected to the same WiFi network as your PC. Some mobile apps may not allow content to be shared on other screens, or may require touch screen interaction to be able interact with them. Up to five Android applications can be launched simultaneously.

[7]Quick Share feature allows for sharing photos, videos, files and other information between Samsung Galaxy devices. Quick Share is available for Galaxy smartphones, Galaxy tablets, Galaxy books, and Galaxy tablets (from May 2021), with Android 10 and One UI 2.1.
