Arvind Kejriwal (Aam Aadmi Party) was Wednesday’s national convener and Delhi chief Minister (CM). He promised to eliminate inspector raj, raid raj, and illegitimate taxes to create a safe environment to business if his party becomes the state’s ruling party.
At a press conference, he stated that if any minister or MLA asks for shares from a trader, they will take immediate action. Bhagwant, AAP’s chief ministerial representative, was also present.
Kejriwal said that Akali Dal and Congress leaders used to ask traders for weekly cut and then intimidate them with threats of raids if they refused.
He also accused previous governments for registering false cases in order to intimidate those who speak out against corruption, mafia, and crime. He said that our government would end the parcharaj and promised to cancel all false case. Mann also assured Punjabi traders and businessmen that they would work to become a partner in government.
Kejriwal campaigned for Jalandhar’s various assembly constituencies. He said, “If you want corruption, mafia, and bureaucracy end, then bring the AAP to power.” Voting for Bhagwant, Mann, the AAP supremo said that the people of Punjab had never had a good and honest option earlier. We have a very honest candidate for chief minister, Bhagwant M Mann. We won’t be deceived.
Mann appealed directly to voters and said that AAP has the potential to change the fortunes for your children. We will improve education and healthcare, end corruption, solve the water and electricity problems, provide employment for youth, and save farmers from default.
Kejriwal promises Ravidas Temple in Delhi
During his visit, the AAP chief also made a special appearance at the Ravidas temple. He stated that the AAP government will build a Ravidas Temple at Delhi and asked the Centre-led Bharatiya Janata Party not to impede. It is relevant to mention that a 500 year-old Ravidas temple at Tuglakabad, New Delhi was demolished by the Centre-led by Bharatiya Janata Party in 2019.
