Kim Kardashian says Blac Chyna created a toxic work environment for ‘Keeping up with the Kardashians’

LOS ANGELES — Kim Kardashian said Tuesday that she has no memories of trying to kill the reality series that starred her brother Rob Kardashian. After hearing about Chyna’s abuse of her brother, she said that she wanted Chyna to be kept away from “Keeping Up With the Kardashians.”

Kardashian stated that she would not work in a toxic environment if she was to work with Chyna. “On my own show I have the power to do this.”

Kardashian testified for over an hour in a Los Angeles courtroom during a civil trial in which Chyna claims Kardashian and three members of her family defamed Chyna. network to cancel the spinoff, “Rob & Chyna.”

Her testimony was largely unremarkable. She spent much of it saying “I do not remember”. But as the star of the trial, she caused a stir by walking from the gallery towards the witness stand in a dark gray pinstriped suit with white sneakers. Many reporters raced out of the courtroom to file stories as soon as she stepped aside.

Lynne Ciani, Chyna’s lawyer, showed Kardashian a series SMS messages from late 2016 to early 2017 with Kardashian’s name attached.

Kardashian denied that she ever sent them, but she did admit to their legitimacy.

Kardashian said, “I don’t recall text messages that I sent this AM.”

After Kardashian viewed one text exchange, a lengthy conversation with Bunim Murray’s producer, she said that “this definitely sounds something I would say.”

She expressed her anger that Chyna might still have been filmed for “Keeping Up With the Kardashians,” a show on which Chyna has occasionally appeared.

“I think we should all take a break at this point from filming until we find out what’s up.” The text said that she would not be appearing on our show. “So if Rob and Chyna are going to film, then you’re going to lose the Kardashians or Jenners.”

The text exchange includes several seemingly unjustified demands regarding Chyna being filmed to “her” television show. Kardashian, however, insists that it was just a quirk with technology.

Kardashian testified that “this is clearly voice dictated” and that it’s sometimes rendering “our” as “her”. “I would never refer her show as ‘her show,’ I would instead call it Rob’s show’ because it’s a spinoff from ‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians.

She also stated that Amanda Weinstein, the recipient, had not worked on “Rob & Chyna.”

Kim Kardashian claimed that the text exchange proved that she and her family were not in control of the decisions made by the network and producers about the shows.

One text message stated, “No one listens or respects us.”

They could withhold their participation in the case against “Keeping Up With the Kardashians.”

Kardashian testified, “I have the right as a member of the cast to say we really require a break.”

The trial, now in its seventh-day, includes the testimony of Kardashian’s mom, Kris Jenner, as well as Kylie Jenner. This testimony focuses on a fight between Chyna Kardashian (Dec. 15, 2016), which led to the couple’s eventual split and cancellation of their show.

Ciani asked Kardashian whether she had seen any injuries on her brother that day.

Kardashian said, “I only remember in that instant him being extremely emotional, and it’s really all so blurred.” “I do remember him looking puffy and red.

When repeatedly asked if Kardashian directed her sisters to inform producers and executives about the attack, Kardashian replied that she didn’t remember. She eventually became mildly angry with Ciani, but remained composed.

Kardashian stated, “I know that you want my answer changed.” “You’ve asked this question four times. I wish I could give you a better answer, but I don’t recall.”

Kardashian was asked if Kylie Jenner had instructed her to send an email about the issue. Kardashian responded, “I don’t control my sisters lives and I don’t have conversations before they send emails.”

Later Tuesday, Ryan Seacrest was deposed by the jury. He is the “American Idol” host and co-creator of “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” alongside Kris Jenner.

Seacrest stated that his role of executive producer on “Rob & Chyna” did not include any duties. Seacrest stated that his “Kardashians contract” gave him the title for any spinoffs.

He did however promote the series on his radio show.

When asked about his first impression of Chyna, he stated that “she was bold & memorable.”

“Do bold and memorable people make great television?” Ciani asked him to appear on the video.

“Sometimes yes sometimes no. In the episode I saw, I had to have thought yes.

“Why?” Ciani asked.

Seacrest stated, “Because it was my job to promote it.”
