It proposed no increase in property taxes and emphasized environmental-friendly measures like setting up eVehicle charging stations at 140 locations. The House Leader, Chhail Bihari, of the BJP-ruled NDMC made several proposals to finalize the budget. This year’s budget has given a special emphasis on promoting e-vehicles. Goswami presented a policy to promote e-bikes, e-cycles and a pollution-free transportation system in his speech.
Goswami also revealed the establishment of an AYUSH college at Haiderpur Hospital.
“More than 140 locations have been identified to provide e-charging stations for electric vehicles and a target has been set to build more than 70 charging stations in the next six months,” Goswami said. “A policy has been started for the operation of e-bikes and e-cycles for pollution free transport system,” he added. Goswami informed that a ‘Nakshatra Vatika’ is being constructed in the parks of North DMC, which will increase awareness among people about the Indian Ayurvedic system. North DMC will also open a Wellness Centre for Municipal Employees at the Civic Centre.
He also announced the construction of a dog park in Rajendra Nagar Ward. He stated that plans are in place to create dog parks in other areas.
The leader announced that space is being made available for Aadhaar Card Registration centres under North DMC jurisdiction. This will facilitate the general public.

He also announced that an exhibition called Atal Mela would be held in Shalimar Bagh to promote the economic empowerment of those in Delhi who have started cottage industries in their own homes.
