PM Modi states that we must accelerate environmentally friendly projects in order to achieve net zero carbon emissions by 2070.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi stressed Tuesday that environment-friendly projects must be accelerated in order to reach the goal of net-zero carbon emission by 2070. PM Modi addressed the first plenary session at the post-budget webinar on ‘financing to grow and aspirational economics’.

“India has set a goal to achieve net-zero carbon emissions by 2070. This is a goal that has been achieved in India. Accelerating environment-friendly projects is essential to speed up these processes,” he said. Our Startups can only grow if we encourage entrepreneurship and place emphasis on innovation. He added that the financial industry must also look at futuristic ideas for innovative financing and sustainable risk management.

Talking further about Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), PM Modi stated that “India’s aspirations today depend on the strength of our MSMEs.” We have made many fundamental reforms, and created new programs to help MSMEs. He also said that the success and viability of these reforms depend on how the funding issues are addressed.

“India’s aspirations lie in organic and natural farming. He said that if someone is willing to do new work, it is important for them to consider how their financial institutions can assist. He stated that India is a self-reliant country today. He said that the country should not be dependent on other countries and suggested that it is important to explore different financing models for projects.

“The government has taken many steps to maintain the momentum of rapid growth in the Budget. He stated that the government had tried to increase financial and economic growth by encouraging foreign capital flows, reducing taxes on infrastructure investment, and creating institutions such as NIIF, Gift City, and new DFIs. Exchanging his greetings for International Women’s Day, the minister said that it was a matter to be proud that India has a woman as its finance minister, who presented a progressive budget. (ANI)
