Satyendar Jain, a senior leader of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), and Delhi’s health, power, and public works minister, has stated that once the party forms a government, its MLAs will not ask for unjustified free partnerships in private companies.
Jain was speaking on Saturday evening at a meeting with traders and businessmen of Mohali, Kharar and Kharar.
He stated that during his visit to Punjab, he realized, after meeting with various traders and businessmen, that corrupt politicians had made it impossible for them to start new projects. They also demanded shares in their businesses.
Jain assured Punjabi businessmen that they will not be asked for anything by the AAP MLAs. Instead, Punjabi businessmen and traders will be offered better conditions and opportunities to set up and run their own businesses. He added that this will help the government increase employment in Punjab.
Jain responded to a question by saying that the AAP government will provide basic services for all people, regardless of their financial status. We will provide the benefits to all people, rich, middle-class and shopkeepers as well as traders.
