Rashid Khan feels that Hardik Pandya is leading the charge with his inspirational performances. He also goes out of his way creating a happy team environment, which has led to a positive start for Gujarat Titans in their maiden IPL campaign. Gujarat are currently on top of this table with four wins in five games. Hardik Pandya is currently second in the run-getters list and is bowling well in all of them.
Rashid stated at the virtual post-match press conference, “The way he [Hardik] has led the team, and the way he has maintained the team environment, both inside and outside of the field, has been amazing so far.”
Rashid, an Afghan ace spinner, said Hardik was someone who takes bold decisions.
“Hardik is a brave person who has confidence and who is clear about his goals.
Rashid said, “This is an important thing to be a captain. When your mind is clear and you make the right decisions, the result (care) will take care of itself.”
